Volunteer at Second Life
Are you looking for a way to help homeless pets without a big time commitment? We need you!
Volunteers are the heart of our organization, and you can make a difference with just a few hours a week or month. By using volunteers, more of our proceeds can be donated to animal rescue groups and toward our mission.
Volunteering at Second Life is a great way to help homeless pets – even if you don’t want to or are not able to work directly with the animals in need.
There are several ways to volunteer:
At the store. This is our biggest need and we are always looking for more people to help us create a great shopping experience for our customers. Read more here.
Away from the store. We would love to find a few dedicated volunteers who love to talk and could promote Second Life at community events and festivals. We don’t always have the opportunity due to staffing resources. Read more here.

Did you know…volunteers donated 47,831 hours of their time during the years of 2015 through 2020. Their dedication helps us achieve our mission of providing grants to animal rescues and spay/neuter programs.
